INTERESTING POINTS: Max graduated High School with a 0.87 GPA, not bad for a rock star!

TONY AND EVE6: Tony as not Eve6's original drummer, he added after the first drummer left. When their origional drummer pulled out of the band, Jon and Max auditioned older drummers. When they found Tony, the band sounded perfect, plus he was their age. Together, the trio recorded their first album in LA at Sound City, Chomsky Ranch, New York, at Electric Lady, and Seattle at Stepping Stone, home of producer Don Gilmore, who has worked with Lit, X , and John Doe. Eve 6's debut album was released on April 28, 1998.
EXTRA EXTRA: Jon started drumming when he was only 10! thats about 12 years or experienced drumming. No wonder he is awesome at it!!!

The Band

Eve6 originates in a suburb of Los Angeles, California. They started playing in high school, and were very dedicated to their music. Early on, the band played mostly in coffee shops, and "actually got banned from a lot of them", as Max puts it. They would distribute flyers all around, and would end up playing for hundreds of people in rooms that could only contain fifty. The band writes all of their songs from the heart, and it shows through the rocking melodies. Most of their songs deal with basic things that people go through in life: a need for conformity, relationships, and friends. Their sound is addictive and never tiring.

Eve6 name History: The band got the name, Eve 6, from a character in an episode of the X-Files. Tony, known as the biggest X-Phile of the band, had some episodes taped of the show. While they were recording, they thought it was time for a name change, and after Tony showed Jon and Max the episode Eve, they decided on the name Eve 6, after a character of that episode.

The band gained their early support through magazine appearances, including Guitar World and Rolling Stone, as well as on television appearances such as Late Night with Conan O'Brien, the Late Show with David Letterman, and MTV. Their first single, "Inside Out", has attracted much attention from both radio and MTV audiences. Their debut music video directed by Scott Sampler was labeled "Buzzworthy" by MTV. Their follow-up singles, Leech, Open Road Song, and Tounge Tied, made an impact on the modern rock charts. Tounge Tied was also used in the movie soundtrack of Teaching Mrs. Tingle.

The band's second Album hit Stores on July 25, 2000. Full with 12 brand new awesome tracks. If also includes a remake of one the songs from "Eleventeen" titled Nocturnal. This from the song "Nocturnal Emission" which was featured on Eleventeen. Songs featured on the 2nd cd titled "Horrorscope" are Promise, On the Roof Again, Here's to the Night any many more. I highly reccommend this album becuase it is very good and there isn't a song that I don't love on it. I give it a rating of ***** for sure. A must for any music lover.

To promote the second album Eve6 have toured this summer and just recently before christmas. The band set out with a Canadian Festival tour called "Summersault" in August 2000 and have recently finished up a Canadian tour through December and are now heading home for the Holidays. There is only one word to describe an Eve6 show, "Amazing". But for more information check out "The GiG" section of the site.

A lot has happened in the Eve6 news area recently. The guys have finished the second video from Horrorscope, "Here's to the Night". It has great capability of being the bands biggest song. The video is in our Video section for everyone to see. The band is in full swing of a huge American tour right now. The "We suck live" tour is almost finished after a good 3 months on the road. No one can say that this band doesn't work for their fame.
